Chapter 151.001 of the Texas Natural Resources Code mandates the preparation of Texas Trees and Timber Bill of Sale during the sale and transfer of trees, logs, timber, in-wood chips, or pulpwood. The buyer must procure and retain this form for the period of two years from the date of the sale. This form must contain particulars of the landowner, buyer, land, and the timber.
